Kaiser's Central Refill Pharmacy (Phase II) amounts to around 40,000 square feet of space.  With its state of the art conveyor system for medicine distribution, an upgrade to 3000 amperes was needed for its main electrical service.  A new 2000 kVA emergency generator with a closed transition, automatic transfer switch was added in addition to the upgrade.
